Cardinals and Spikes Battle to 6-6 Tie

The Cardinals and the Spikes played to a 6-6 tie at Brent Mayne Field.  The Cardinals scored all their runs in the first two innings and held the Spikes scoreless for the first six innings.  The Spikes scored two runs apiece in the 7th, 8th, and 9th.  Neither team was able to score in the 10th. Tom Mizak pitched the first four innings and allowed only one hit.  Mizak, Wayne Morris, Dan Emerson, and Ivan Chambers led the Cardinal offense with two hits apiece.  Morris also had two RBIs.
